Please spare a thought for the homeless cats and help us to help bring stray cats into our cat shelters now!

Why not spare a thought for all the many unfortunate stray cats living rough, in the sheer cold, and starving out there.  These cats are turfed out through no fault of their own and are only trying to find “room at the inn”, somewhere that they may be welcome, where they can lay their weary heads and be guaranteed food and water.  Sometimes, these cats just can’t find anyone kind hearted enough to take them in or other rescues are full with no space.

We have found that the number of stray cats have increased, especially this year, and unfortunately, may be due to the present financial climate. With many people unable to cope themselves, never mind to look after a pet cat……

We are usually full to bursting and get constant calls about stray, poor, perishing cats/kittens out there in the cold.  Some are even very ill and near to death, but we always try our best to provide shelter, food and medical care for them.  They don’t ask for much, just somewhere to get out of the bitter cold and for a little food plus a little compassion from a kind hearted volunteer never goes wrong either.  Hopefully, a loving home, in the near future as well.

Those cats are the lucky ones, they’ve found someone to look after them, unfortunately, we’re sometimes too late to save the unlucky ones.  They die alone on the street, never knowing love or kindness, never knowing what it’s like to not have to scrounge for food, never having anyone to stroke them, play with them or take care of them.  You could change all of that and make a difference to these cats lives.  Please help our many cats in need!!

How you can help, to make a difference right now?

1. Either by homing one of our cats, longing for that special home of their own, just now.

2. Make a much needed donation to ourselves:- You can make a one-off donation online here via Paypal or you can fill out one of our direct debit instruction (phone 0871-890-3034 or 01555-660784 for one to be posted out to you). For regular payments to our charity, helping cats every day throughout the year. If you would prefer to write us a cheque or postal order, either give us a phone or e-mail us and we will give you out our postal address and/or our bank details.

3. Give us a regular donation through G.A.Y.E.. Making more of you’re donation (with the tax benefits). Please note giving through this scheme to our cat charity would be donating to CAT Lanarkshire. 

It’s us that get the daily helpless, desperate calls and wish we could  help more, but our funds have been consistently low and we need your help to be able to help more cats, now, to survive this winter and to find a loving home at last.

As we get no public funding, like some other better known animal charities, as mentioned above, we rely totally on you’re generosity to be able to fund our cat shelters and help more poor, starving, stray cats and kittens out there. Please help if you can, at all. A little from everyone will help us enormously. Believe me. I can also assure you every penny goes to the cats, when donating to us!!
