Tiger

An update of Tiger (previously Randy)

Our wee Tiger is the loveliest loving little thing he is so good and so funny. I feed the foxes at night and he sits beside me when they come and watches them. He is so content in the house and goes from our bed to Ronnie's. He follows Ronnie around the house and he gets lots of love and affection from him. When Ron comes in with his can of food for Tiger, he sits then begs (He thinks he is a dog ) Ha Ha. Well, I guess you know we are so happy with our little guy and he is the centre of attraction when anyone comes in to visit and he just goes to everyone. Just wanted you to know we love him and will care for him and thank you again for choosing us for him. Keep up the great work you do it is a wonderful organization.

An update on how Louis is getting on in his new home:

What a charming and loving cat Louis is – he is absolutely adorable! I’ve attached a couple of photos to let you guys see how he is getting on. He seems to have settled in very nicely, can still be a teeny bit timid from time to time but he soon gets cuddles to remind him that he’s safe and loved very much. He’s now venturing out into the garden and seems to treat it like a jungle adventure – I think we are more nervous than he is! Thanks so much for the privilege of homing wee Louis (a bit fatter now – following his Mum’s footsteps!). We just adore the wee tike!

Now known as Smudge and Freddie, their new owner has been in touch to say how they are getting on: Just a quick email to send you some photos of the boys...they are doing extremely well and are quite ‘cat’egorically the most affectionate cats I have ever known. They love everyone...including the dogs and when we are out they spend the time sleeping with the dogs in their kennel!

Charlie the lovely white and ginger cat we got from Karyn a week past Saturday, is settling down well and proving to be quite a character! He loves his back garden and gets up to all sorts of mischief but comes back quietly during the night and often one of us awakens with him lying next to us. We also got our first gift from him on Monday night - a wee mouse - sadly we werent able to save it - but there was no way he was giving it up - so we think he ate it. He is the hungriest cat ever. He loves cold ham and cocktail sausages - which he throws about till he thinks he's killed it (a whole big funny ceremony) and then he eats it. We will keep in touch and send you a pic of him soon (he seems to have grown - albeit out the way rather than up!) Thank you for giving us this lovely boy

Update on Oliver

As you will see from the photos he is a very relaxed and playful cat (though he does still occasionally swipe at us when nervous). He eats everything in sight and is ruled by his stomach! He can be relied upon to come running when the fridge is opened or anyone ventures into the kitchen. This is the only time hes vocal too...! He now eats wet and dry food, roast beef, chicken, tuna and anything else on offer...

An update from Hamish

He knows where he lives now [...] he's a bit of a wanderer, and although he comes back he somtimes takes his time about it! I had forgotten to lock the cat flap last night when I came in from work and out he went out just about 1130pm...I had to go and get him at just before 2am because he hadn't come back and I couldn't sleep for worrying about him. He was sitting in his usual spot, quite happy, amost as if he was waiting for me! I'm beginning to think he just likes being carried back home, he sits in my arms quite the thing, purring away and doesn't make any attempt to jump down. I don't know how many lives he has left, but I've lost at least 2 of mine worrying about him!

An update from Snowflake

Just to give you an update on snowflake, he has been microchipped and all his jags, he is doing excellent, more contented and more loving. he has got no more problems with his teeth since they got fixed, he gets on well with our rabbit snowy, they play together and with lucky.

Snowflake has sadly passed away after many happy years with his new owner. He came to CAT with a broken jaw and many other problems after being mistreated. The vet thought he was kicked in the jaw and this was how it was broken. He was well loved by his new family and spent the remaineder of his life being spoiled and well looked after. RIP Snowflake xx

An update from Poppy and Daisy

Just to let you know Poppy and Daisy have settled into there new home. They were a bit nervous at first and spent the first 2 nights behind the washing machine!! There are now playing about together and enjoying lots of pampering and food. Poppy is definately the adventureous one and enjoys exploring the back garden (under supervision) Daisy is much more laid back and content (she has ventured as far as the top step!!). Poppy also tends to be the bossy one - although I suppose she is the big sister. Hope all your other cats and you are well. Regards,Ellen

Star

Update on Star

She had some food while I was out, she's eaten all the wet food I put out for her and it looks like she ate some of the dry as well, so she's eating fine. She was hiding somewhere when I came in but when I called her name a few times she came out and came over to me to say hello and get a belly rub. She came up and sat on the blanket on the couch beside me for a bit and had a wee stroke. I reckon everything will be fine, I think she'll be settled in no time. She's quite happily lying on the rug right now giving herself a good clean so I'm just leaving her to it. I'll put out the cat bed for her tonight and I've left some other comfy blankets and stuff like that around so she can decide where she wants to sleep and I'll leave my bedroom door open so she can sleep in there if she wants, will just see what she prefers. Was thinking about her name and I don't think I will give her another name, I think Star suits her perfectly somehow!

Pepsi & cola

Update on Pepsi & Cola

They are both doing really well pair of sooks, pair of them sit like book ends across my lap most evenings. We have re named them Neve and Honey, Neve is the wee one (means little light) and Honey is the big one, because of her coat and because she is such a wee honey, keeping them indoors for another month until they get there jags however wee Neve is obviously desperate to chase the birds as she watches them all the time.

Max

Update on Max

We let Max out of his carrier in the living room where he proceded to have an exploratory sniff, the children and Catriona's father all welcomed him. On letting the dogs in "Spot" the 14yr old lab simply sniffed Max on the nose and proceded to lie down, "Lady" the Welsh border collie was so excited to have a new member of the clan, she played chase me with him. The mould was set. A friend told us he is a breed of cat known as a "Turkish Van" cat, photos on the internet backed this statement up. Initially Max required patience and persistance. He would growl and lash out occasionally to the point of being frightening. We believe this was due to him being cautious and frightened. Over the next few months he settled down finding his place in the household. He is not a lap cat but knows how to turn the charm on when he wants fed or attention. Max has adopted us and is totally at one with his surroundings. Now that the weather is changing for the better he likes to lie in the garden for a couple of hours in the sun with Lady offering him the ball to throw for her. Max is now an established member of the family.

jamsie2

Update on Jamesie

Just to let you know on the way home he layed and slept and didnt make a sound, he seemed content and he has settled very well,in fact he thinks hes been here alway, hes taken over as they do. He was a little hyper on sat when we go home but thats to be expected. He is eating well and loves all the attention and some!. As you would know he is into everything and has the run of the house

Update on Jasmine

Thought I would just send you a wee note to let you know how Jasmine is... She has come a long way recently... she is quite sociable with us now and doesn't run away quite as much. She likes to lie on my knee for longer than she did without feeling too nervous. Jim can't get ready in the morning for her wrapping herself round his legs and sitting on his feet which is really funny. We let her into the hall of the flats for a wee nosey and that seems to satisfy her because she doesn't want out and we just do it when its quiet..if anyone is going about she just runs straight back in...

Update on Sooty

Just to let you how Sooty is getting on since this is his 2nd week. He's a wee livewire and is desperate to get outside. We are keeping him in for 3 weeks as your advice mentioned.  He is eating/nibbling our plants and I have tried moving them and scooshing him with the water pistol but we think he thinks this is a game ;-)  He is loving playing and we have bought lots of toys for him. He has his bed in the living room and is not shy with anyone who comes in (unlike our last cat).

Cookie

Update on Cookie

Just a quick email to let you know Cookie is doing really well. She's settled in good and hasn’t been any problem at all, she’s good as gold. She loves sleeping on her wee radiator bed and has a daft half hour at our bed time when she spends the whole time chasing her tail.

Lucy and Sebastian

Lucy (aka Tootsie)

Lucy has been thoroughly checked out at the vets and she is in tip-top condition. As the vet so eloquently put it she has blossomed since being neutered and now currently on a diet to shed some pounds. She has really come on in leaps and bounds. We have now had a dry bed for 3 weeks and today I have finally ventured taking off the plastic duvet protector. On top of that, she is now venturing up on me for some "mum time". When I am lying in bed she comes up and lies on top of me or lies on top of the pillow at my head and purrs her wee heart out. It would seem she has finally accepted both me and Sebastian (our other cat) and is finally making herself at home and as you have probably gathered I am totally chuffed to bits. She has given me a lot of heartache, wet beds and washing but I have never stopped loving her. Now it's all coming together and she is starting to love me, I am the proudest mum in the world. Thanks again for letting me bring her home, it's been hard work but worth every bit. Love to you and all your lovely wee moggies.

Boots & Poppy1

Boots & Poppy (aka Tia & Kia)

Just a wee cat update. They are both doing really well. We had them at the vets last Wednesday and they got their injections. Poppy's wound is healing nicely and the vet was quite happy with it. They have to go back in two weeks for the last lot of injections. They are giving us hours of amusement. We tend to watch them playing/fighting at night instead of eastenders now! Emily and Boots are still best of friends and Julia is great with them now. She is constantly talking to them and clapping them which is really cute. They are such gentle cats, not once have they showed any temper with the girls.

Boots & Poppy

Khai & Mitz

An update from Khai and Mitz

Khai and Mitz are fully settled in and seem to have their favourite places to snooze day and night. They're eating well (Khai more than Mitz, of course) and have both been really playful especially in this last week! Mitz has had a look around the back green and came back no problem but so far Khai has been too scared of walking through the stair. I think we'll have to be patient and try again at the weekend as I know he'll love it once he's brave enough to go outside.

An extract from a popular website praising our charity: -

My daughter's been on the phone, the rescue is the cat action trust, and have been so quick and willing to help, daughter is driving to foster carers tonight, the girls there are angry too, it gets worse, this owner got the cat from another rescue, it makes your blood boil, to think of what this evil woman did, god only knows what would have happened if my daughter hadnt seen him ripping bin bags for food, poor little man, lets hope and pray he gets a good home. I think there will be mixed emotions tonight as my daughter was getting attached to him, phone just rang again, little one safely delivered to girl from rescue, he will be staying there untill the other foster home has him, the little cat was rolling on their carpet and the girl's husband was nursing him, my daughter said they are so nice and really angry with the woman who dumped him. So this little one has a warm foster home and the girl said she'll keep her informed on his progress, thank god for good people.

Wonderful that the rescue has moved so fast to help this poor little chap. Amazing isn't it that after being treated so heartlessly by this awful woman that he still such a sweet loving little boy. Let's pray that he'll find a truly lovely home where he'll be cherished. It's very good the rescue is going to keep her up to date with his progress.

After a few weeks in care, Sam has been given a second chance at life and has now been adopted into a loving home.

An update from 2 kittens taken in by CAT

I took home 2 adorable female tabby kittens last September from Karyn at “Mousemill”. They are now nearly a year old and we love them to bits. They are called Sophie, who is quite small but game for anything, and Molly, who has grown to quite a size but can be very timid. They are now quite anxious to get out and about in the garden and we have taken them out in harnesses but would like a bit more freedom so we are now having them neutered.

An update from Marmy and Cheeko

Just to let you know the journey home was fine - only took an hour and we let them out into the kitchen once I had seen to my dog Meg. I had set up a wee hidey hole with a blanket so they could hide for the night. Marmy (Marley we are going to call him) was reasonably laid back and lay on the kitchen floor. We had to leave the kitchen door open to the hall overnight so they had the run of the small hallway and kitchen because it gets too hot in the kitchen with the aga on. Cheeko found the hall window and was happy to be petted looking out of the window.

An update from Holly (formerly Precious)

I have to say that Holly is a firm family and friends favourite, she always welcomes everyone and loves to get a cuddle and purrs away quite the thing.  I say she is spoiled but Mum just says she is loved!  Either way, she is such a wee darling that we can’t believe how lucky we got with her.

An update from Bebe (formerly Tikka)

She has definitely settled in well and everyone loves her very much already. She is eating well and sleeping a lot, as most cats do! When she's awake she has her wee hyper moments where she goes mad playing with her toys. She has met all the other animals living here too, my two cats and dog. She has been trying to play with the oldest cat but he has gotten lazy in his old age and doesn't have much time for her. As for my other cat, it will take a bit more time for her to accept a new face around the house, though she has always been a wee madam so there was no surprise there. My dog and Bebe seem unsure of how to react to each other, although all is well so far. So, I am pleased to say that everything is great and she has most definitely found herself a new home.

An update on 2 kittens rehomed by CAT

The little ones are settling down no problem.  They haven't been at all strange since they arrived and have made themselves right at home.  Fluffy as you call her - think we are calling her Lola and him Louie - slept all the way over in the car, and there wasn't a peep out of either of them during the journey.  They really are adorable, real little invididual characters.  They tend to come alive, big time at about 10pm which is fun to watch......their upset tummies seem fine now too - their poos are more solid!!! ha ha. what a conversation.... Thanks again for all your help, it was a pleasure to deal with you and will definitely keep in touch.

Update on Biscuit & Buster

Biscuit is a wee character and a total poser, always wanting to be the centre of attention. He's been exploring all round the flat and always wants to see what you are doing (I'm having trouble writing this e-mail as he is using me as a climbing frame at the moment). He's found a wee spot that he likes on top the chest of drawers, where he can watch everyone out the window, so we've put his bed up there. He also seems to think he's a guard cat - he follows Susan everywhere and he growls whenever he hears someone in the hall outside. Buster is slowly starting to come out of his shell. He's still a wee bit nervous, but is becoming more sociable. He seems to have a wee routine already - he sleeps under the bed during the day then comes out at about 8 o'clock every night and becomes as much of attention seeker as his brother, then has a mad half hour at about 10 o'clock where he runs round the flat and fights with the furniture (so far he's had a wrestling match with one of the houseplants (which he won) and he's managed to get on top of the wardrobe and knock all the boxes off).

Update on Smokey

She is fine and enjoying exploring her surroundings, she likes to climb the tree in our garden. We have two hamsters and she is fascinated by them and spends ages sitting watching them. I hadnt realised how much I had missed having a cat around. She is lying on top of bed upstairs just now, one of her favourite places to sleep. One unusual thing I have noticed about her is she doesnt miaow, although very occassionally she will let out one very quiet miaow. She has only sat on my lap once and when you try to coax her she seems unsure and is always poised to jump off, wondered if previous owner discouraged her. Given time I am sure she will be happy to sit with us. She enjoys her food and always clears her plate. She seems happy and loves playing with her new toys and hiding in empty cardboard boxes. She is always purring. I am so glad we found Smokey!

An Update on Lucy

As you can imagine she is now well settled. She loves her new home. She loves the garden and has taken to climbing the 6ft fence and gate and wanders between us and the next 3 or 4 gardens. Also enjoys being on top of the garage.  And this is taller than your usual garage!!!!  But somehow, she manages it. Not biting as much and tolerates a cuddle from us most of the time. Beats up any cat that wanders into the garden!!! Lost no weight at all. If anything, I think her body is looking bigger. Either that or her head is shrinking. She loves stretching out on the beds, back of sofa's, middle of the floor or really anywhere that takes her fancy. Pops into the bath for a drink of water when she's upstairs and is doing most of her business outside now. Rarely uses the litter tray at all. Anyway, much loved by the family. Wouldn't be without her now. Hope all is well with you and the cats.

Update on Charlie

He settled in really well and is a really friendly cat but very cheeky at times. He owns the place already and its as if he has always been here. He still follows me about a lot, sometime I think he's a wee dog instead of a cat. He is getting pampered beyond belief and is very happy, getting all the best treatment and food. I even bought him new cat toys but quickly discovered he would rather play with a straw instead. Everyone that comes into Charlie's home loves him to bits and even my friends are spoiling him now. He sleeps almost anywhere he falls down and when I go to bed so does he. He is such a loveable wee character and is well at home here. I can assure you he has went to a loving home and he wont have to worry about anything for the rest of his life. Thank you for letting me take him.

Update on Kittens

Just to let you know that the kittens are all settled in and are having a late afternoon nap.  Very cute and very cuddly. I went out for five mins to the shops and when I came back they came rushing over to me for cuddles.  Still no names for them, they're absolutely lovely.  We'll take great care of them. Thanks again.

Update on Mitz & Jesse (kittens)

They seem to have settled in really well- we've kept with Mitz and the boy is Jesse - our girls picked the names- not at all the ones we expected! Jesse is still the friendliest and is always after petting- but Mitz is getting more and more confident- they are chasing each other round the house as I type- they seem to be getting more used to our routine- though still sleeping quite a bit (they seem to go from extremes!) They don't seem to be too keen on the dried food- I am using the one you had- but have eventually emptied it out a couple of times- they will snack on it sometimes- but the two times I have emptied it out and put the wet food in they have wolfed it down- but I know the dried stuff is much better for their teeth- I guess we will have to perserveer! You did a fab job with the toilet training- not problems at all to date! The girls are beside themselves and spent all weekend playing with them- and couldn't wait to get to school today to tell all their friends about the new additions to the family

Update on Cali and Tia (formerly Cheeko & Tina)

I thought id drop you a wee note to let you know that the girls are settling in well. We had a sleepless thursday night as Cali was up crying all night but since then things have been going from strength to strength. Tia loves jumping up on my lap for a wee cuddle and now Cali is coming out of her shell and doing the same, sometimes both at the same time. Im glad to say Cali is a changed cat since first arriving, she likes nothing more than a wee bit of attention and also loves to play with the toys ive bought them. Both are eating well and seem to love the sardine cat food i bought them to try amongst others, it seems any food will do! They constantly follow me around the house and are never without each other. Im glad they have settled in so quickly. Thanks for looking after them so well until we found each other and im sure we'll all have a long and happy life together.

Harris (formerly Tinkle)

He doesn't like going out in the cold and snow, but prefers to sit by the window and watch the birds in the garden. In the good weather, he is a great hunter and enjoys being out and about. He is a good eater and keeps all the family busy looking after him. I would be grateful if you could include this in the success stories section in your website

Update on Lily and Sophie

The two tortoiseshell kittens I adopted from you in October are doing really well - they're both very playful (they love climbing the curtains and getting onto the highest surface they can!) and very affectionate too. They've had their vacinations and don't seem to mind going to the vet's at all - they even let the vet give them a kiss! We're really glad to have them - looking forward to Christmas and all the wrapping-paper tearing

Merry Christmas and thanks again for Lily and Sophie!

Update on Jacob (one of our kittens)

Wee Jacob is  a wee star!!!  He has settled really well.  I couldn't ask for a better wee boy - I am so in love with him!  Him and Tango get on really well now and Tango is back to his old self.  It took a few days, maybe a week but Tango is just brilliant with the wee boy.  He washes him, cuddles him and lets him jump all over his back and head and chase his tail.  He has a great nature and is into everything - he's scared of nothing!!  Poor Tango never gets a minute's peace. I've attached a photo of Jacob posing so you can see how well he's doing. I can't thank you enough for getting him many thanks

Update on Thelma & Louise (formerly Isis & Storm)

They are both great. Louise (larger one) is very lively and is now eating the hard food. Thelma is still fussy with food, but is getting more energetic every day now. She has always been very affectionate but wasn't really very playful with us or her sister. But now she's starting to climb all over the place. Maria and I absolutely love them - they really are the most beautiful cats.

We adopted two lovely little male kittens from you in November. Thought you might like some pictures of them. They're an awful lot bigger than this now, these were taken a few weeks after we got them. We called them Gilbert and Sullivan, Gilbert is the one you called "fluffy". They're hilarious and his paws are enormous, as is he, he's less than 5 months old and he's huge! The vet even said she'd never seen such huge paws! They are the most affectionate wee things and are incredibly naughty. Sullivan is the brains of the outfit, they go everywhere together. They've had all their jags, so go out all the time and are terrorising the upstairs cats, they're terribly social little things, unfortunately, Lola and Vinnie who live upstairs are not so keen to make their acquaintance! So thank you for this lovely pair, I think they're so trusting and affectionate because of the lovely care you gave them.

Update on Romeo

Romeo seems to be doing fine, settled in really quite quickly, im over the moon with him, we got him some more toys today to play with so he has been kept quite busy. Thank you so very much Mags, he is amazing. I will still phone you tomorrow afternoon and let you know how well he is doing. thanks once again with love. Lorraine and Stephen.

Update on Sooty and Sweep

They have been a god send to me and have filled a huge void in my life....they will be getting dressed at end of March, then hopefully all being well, they can go and explore there territory.

Update on Deesyl & Densyl

I thought I'd drop you a wee note, along with some of the "many" pics already taken of the two wee gorgeous kittens - named Deesyl and Densyl. My daughter Jacqueline picked them up last Saturday - it was a BIG surprise from my husband for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both kittens have settled in nicely and are loving their new surrounds - MUCH space to play around in. Me, I just want to retire now as I can't part with them in the morning!!!!!! Also thought you'd like to know I've just registered with Riverside Veterinary Clinic, 36 Forth Crescent in Stirling, to organise their injections. On reading your advice notes it says to let you know about neutering - obviously this will be in a few months time, but this is something we will definately also see to and will get back in touch with you nearer the time regarding the subsidised scheme. Many thanks for your help and just want to say that they were both "love at first sight"!

Jackson (formerly Brandy)

We have now renamed him Jackson and he has settled in very well. He is very affectionate and loves giving and getting cuddles which is great. He has his own corner of the living room with bed, teddy, activity centre, toys but of course he has found that my bed is even better for napping on! I could not wish for a better cat , he is totally adorable and I am so glad he came to live with us, he makes us all smile and feel happier. Thanks for letting us adopt him.

Update on Harry

Just a wee update on your wee boy. He has had his stitches out and the eye has been left free now with ointment to see if any progress can be made - it does look a wee bit better and he goes back to the vet on Monday. He had a full range of blood test just to make sure that the eye was not a symptom of an underlying disease but happily the results are in and he is all clear!!! hurrah. He needs wormed again in two weeks because his worm burden was so bad (imagine 3 times to get rid of them) and he has had drops for his ear mites and bad wax - his ears were really itchy and he was scratching a lot but now they are all shiny clean and he looks most handsome. After everything he has been through he is remarkably cheery, this morning he was trashing his bed while flicking his favourite mouse in the air. He does play with the other boys and although he is still wary of them every day they get better and now there is no growling or hissing except from him when he is playing with his mouse. (really weird he growls at his toy mice for hours as he is playing its as if he has never played before). I will keep you posted after Monday to let you know his progress at the vet and he has still one more vaccination to get but everything is moving in the right direction. he eats like a horse and tuna and chicken are his favourites, every night when I come in from work they all gather round for tuna and chicken treats and he is always first in line. He waves me off every morning to work from the dining room and he is always first down to greet me when I come in - a real mummy's boy.

Ruby (previously Molly)

She's still as sleepy and laid back as ever and Owen and I think she's amazing. She's an affectionate cat and loves to cuddle into us in bed. Our other 2 cats don't seem to mind her at all, there has been a bit of hissing but nothing to worry about.

Rosie has settled in great. Daisy hasn't exactly fallen in love with her but she hasn't eaten her either!! She has fairly come out her shell and runs around like a mad thing!. We just love her.

Callum is doing great. I adore him, he follows me everywhere and is such a lovely wee man. He doesn't like being on his own and even when I leave the back door open he prefers to sit on my knee. Gordon had never had a cat before and loves him to bits. Callum is very chatty I have never had a cat that is so vocal, its really cute. He talks to us all the time and even comes running if you call his name. He is just the perfect cat for our family. So thank you for introducing us.

Just to let you know that Kato's doing well! He was a bit nervous at the start but he seems to have made himself at home is very cuddly!

I have been meaning to contact you for sometime regarding Cookie. We got Cookie back at the end January 2009 from a carer in Kirkfieldbank. She has been a fantastic cat. She has a lovely (all be it independent) nature. We have 2 very young daughters and she is great with them both. Although she is not a lap cat, she likes plenty of attention and is very vocal character. I have attached a photo of her.

Update on Kittens

Just a wee email to let you know that both are doing fine and settling in well. Baby is doing the bulk of the eating when it is put down for them. Both are really playful and baby slept on me today, so she is beginning to trust. Cheeky takes it all in his stride. Finally, we have changed their names (sorry). It is now Pepsi and Max. Max was easy but Pepsi took a little while. Thanks for your help

Meeshka (previously Mischa)

I rehomed Mischa (now Meeshka) through your charity in 2008. She was still with her old owner but he didn't have time to care for her properly. After a good 6 months of being incredibly shy she slowly came out of her shell and is now an incredibly affectionate and ridiculously spoiled, happy little cat. Her favourite past-times now are chasing birds away from our bird feeders and waking me up by curling up around my neck :) I just want to thank you all so much with your help rehoming her to me. Life wouldn't be the same without her.

Floppy is a 13 week old kitten who came to CAT with neurological imbalance problems. He was found wandering the streets when he was only 8 weeks old and was handed into the local vets, who then called CAT to see if we could look after him. CAT gladly took him in and gave him a second chance in life. Our fosterer Mags has watched Floppy grow stronger and stronger each day for the past 5 weeks. He’ll never be like other cats but he can manage on his own, with some help from a human friend. He really is a gorgeous wee kitten and we have now found a good home for him with a lady who understands his problems and is willing to work long and hard with him so he has the greatest chance of living a normal, happy life. This is a happy ending for Floppy as the vet and CAT saw great potential for improvement that some people wouldn’t have seen. In another time and place, this poor wee cat could have been put to sleep and forgotten about like so many other cats are. He is now ready to venture out to his new home in a couple of days time and we’re sure that he’ll be so much happier in that loving home with one-to-one attention. We are writing this story for all the cats in the world who are never given a chance at life because of cruelty, neglect or medical reasons. There is hope, if only people would give them that chance they deserve. A big thank you to Floppy’s new owner Patricia and of course to his fosterer Mags, who will miss him very much but is so glad to see him go to that home he truly deserves. Good luck Floppy and I’m sure we’ll hear all about your many adventures – lots of love CAT

I can't believe its nearly a year since we got Chicco - Marley is never far from our thoughts and we always will wonder what happened to him. Chicco is ok she was fine when we got back from hols and gave me a kiss and actually got on my lap so there's a first. She likes attention and loves a brush. Now considering taking on another cat/kitten to keep Chicco company.

Please find attached a photo of Milly (Left) and Molly (right) (Milly and Muffin). I rehomed them a while ago from the trusts Lanarkshire branch and would really like to update you with their progress. Sorry it has taken so long! They have settled really well and are an absolute delight to have. The are so loving and just love to snuggle up. Very very friendly and so good with people. I am so happy that I found them. The Cat Action Trust is a fabulous organisation and I would recommend anyone who would like to rehome at cat to contact yourselves. Thank you so much for Millie and Molly. They mean the world to me.

Just sending you some pictures of Alfie!! He's been great since he got here, no problems at all, even used his litter box! The only thing was he didnt eat very much yesterday, but he did eat a good bit this morning and i'll just leave it out, hopefully thats ok. I'm off today but Carl brought him in to me at 6.30 to wake me up haha!!
